Dhulikhel panaroma1

This is a 120degree view (facing almost North) from infront of the room of the Mountain Resort we stayed in. This isnt too well done, but far far away the blues are the himalayan mountains and to the left of the picture is the everest region. One of the mountains that's seen here (too unclear perhaps to see) is the GauriShankar which is regarded as a re-incarnation of the Hindu god Shiva.

KL from a tiny camera

Use sRGB colour profile (embedded) to view.
The original pic is from a Fujifilm Finepix A101 tiny camera. There's hardly any manual settings on this camera, but I liked the photos it took, mostly.
date: 12/9/2002, 7.25am, ISO-125, shutter: 1/181 sec, aperture F/4.6, exposure compensation -1.5step

360 panaroma

This one is a 360 degrees stitch again with the same software and camera as in the previous post. It isn't too impressive to view 360 degrees flat splat it like this. Its better viewed from the .swf file.

This picture was taken on 9th July 2005. No re-touching has been done here, although I am tempted. ArcSoft PanaromaMaker (3.5) stitched 5 pics seamlessly to give this panaroma. The camera is Nikon Coolpix 5600 (how I went about choosing a camera is in here and here). It gives a 1/3 overlap preview while shooting, making it easy to capture panaromic views.
The ArcSoft PanaromaMaker software also has the function to export to .swf format and/or generate the an html to embed the .swf file.
The same view from a different camera (canon S70,) on a different day, stiched with a different software, can be seen on tho's blog here.
